The Flemish river basin management plans 2022-2027
On 1 July 2022, the Flemish Government adopted the river basin management plans for the Scheldt and the Meuse for the period 2022-2027.
These plans are drawn up in implementation of the European Water Framework Directive and the Floods Directive. These plans present the current state and pressures, and on this basis formulate measures and actions to improve groundwater and surface water quality, and protect against flooding and drought.
